im sure this has been asked many times but does anyone know how to get a little more low end power out of there spree.(by the way i am on summer vacation and my neabor gave me an 86 spree and i have a truck so this is for fun around the house and wont be on the street.)

place a small washer between the inner/outer pulley.

I would but the person that gave it to me (I JUST HAD A SMALL EARTH QUAKE HERE)my first 1 i ever felt. Back to my post. He welded the pulleys to the crank shaft. I dont know how much they are suppost to be spaced though. But at least he dont touch them any more. Also do you know what the correct belt should look like(i think i have the wrong 1)maybe some measurements.

If it's been welded on and works, I'd leave it alone. You'd need a new crank and pulleys to fix this. It's probably not worth the effort.

That said, you can play with belt sizes to change the rear pulley size. Tighter belt will run a higher top speed, smaller less speed, more torque.

I have no side case on but it seems like the belt is fairly loose . do you know how long the belt should be.

i have a second motor thats seized and i can use that crank but i would need the new pulley set up.
