Rear suspension

Post by MYSTERE1 »

My rear shock I think has just about had it. I don't want to just replace it with a used one. I'd like to get something more sport oreanted maybe even adjustable, but I dont want to spend like $500.00 to get it.
Where would be a good place to get a aftermarket shock without spending a fortune?

Check www.vtcycles.com. Call them about this. I have to believe that there's an aftermarket shock that will fit the Spree (probably from the Elite 50.) I've heard of guys running Aero 80 rear springs/shocks to firm up the ride.

So check '87 to '93 Elite, not the '94+.

From hole to hole

1984-87 spree= 9.5"
1987 elite 50 = 10.5"
94-01 elite S = 10"
1988 elite E = 11"

I have an elite e shock on my spree. It gives it a higher stance

Greetings:

This one changed my life. (I should get out more... ) There are better shocks out there, (Malossi) but a whole lot more expensive.

Some time back the forum database had to be rebuilt and the existing members all got switched to that particular sign-up date for some reason.
