so i'm doing a ministroked corsa build this weekend and pulled the motor. i sat and looked for a bit and rembered my front end pulling up quite easily with a Metrakit 72 kit. then i thought about an extended rear swing arm like on a rocket and figured a way to work this that would work with my scoot http://img10.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=johnpic1.jpg

Greetings:

As if these things aren't already twisty and wobbly enough leaned over. Not telling what changing the geometry that much will do to your handling at the puckering limit. I'm with MadDog. I'm running 7.83:1 with a mere 65cc Polini and take-off is plenty quick. Top speed at max stock RPM should exceed 60; more if you can rev past 8500.

i assume that 7. gears will stretch out my powerband that right now ends around 60 but still climbs past just not super fast. i've got like 70 miles on fresh motor right now so i havent done a WOT run yet but this scoot does hit 60 at 2/3 throttle. i would like to keep the whoop-* acceleration it's a blast even with the motor an inch farther back it still takes a case of cola to keep the front end down. :)

the handling is decent i weigh 130 so not too much of a difference but i have a 310mm shock on the way that should help get it off the ground. i just got all plastics back on so i'll post some pics up monday of the rear end and engine stuff
