How well did I do ?

Post by skip1701 »

Hi all. This weekend our local bike salvage yard had a inventory liquidation sale, I other words, they be moving to better digs. I picked up a 83 nh80 aero complete but older than dirt, got it to fire 20 min after getting it home $100. The other score was a 2000 zuma minus its entire top end and a locked up crank $50 . Ok folks....how did I do ?

you paid more for the aero than the zuma? That zuma looks like a score. Do they have titles?

most definitely, split the cases, free the crank, replace bearings and kit it.
the pre 02 zumas had the vertical minarelli engine right?
if so not as many aftermarket parts as the horizontal, but still a rippin' engine.

Both great deals. I think limp is even selling a bbk for that zuma...

Are they missing the centerstands or do you just need them to keep the trees from falling over?
