The old saying, "Stupid is as stupid does!" applies here. Both vehicles are made by the same corporation and to differentiate them this way is snobbishness at best and more along the lines of STUPID. Beamers have been Beamers since I was a kid, to change it now is asinine at best. Oh and to believe what newspapers say as gospel is crazier than calling a Beamer a Bimmer.
