We're staying near PDX tonight, then tomorrow morning driving south. We don't have any sort of agenda whatsoever. Kind of weird. We've been so busy lately we haven't even had time to plan what we are doing out there. Were selling our house so we have showings every other day, gotta get the kids to school and back, work, and my wife and daughter just got back from a vaca down in Virginia. So busy. Scootertuning as well.

I think we'll be back up towards Portland towards the end of our trip, early next week.

Everything was awesome til Grants Pass. Then we hit the drought area. Its a little dry down here, but that was the idea. The valley is long and wide. We went to Jacksonville and Ashland today. Both very nice. Downtown Medford sucks.

I thought Eugene was nice, but we only drove through it. We missed Salem cause we were on the coast. I gotta get down to Shasta cause I have great memories from a trip when I was younger I want to revisit.
We hit a little of East Medford tonight. That was pretty nice. I like the view of Table Rock and Mt. Mcglochlin. 2 hours from a beach is almost painful. We've started discussing St. Petersburg FL already.

Oregon NorCal.

This morning I had an interview for a Field Service Engineer in Southern Oregon with my company Canon. The same position I hold back in Michigan. The manager told me I have the job if I want it. Its so awesome out here. Everywhere, but the place I'd work (Medford)....it really is sort of a butthole. Grants Pass which is just North is our type of town though, but that would put me back in a commuting situation. My wife has an interview in Bend on Sunday a very nice hospital.
We'll see how that goes.
