Go buy one too long and cut it down?
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

yes, its that time of year again. its time to bust out the mopeds and go riding. mine sat all winter and would run for carp but its finally running descent, it'll get better when it warms up more and i get the gunky gas run out of the engine that built up over the winter

SON OF A b**** ! ! ! ! ! ! !

i got this thing out today, i was playing with the carb, took it for a spin...
i dont know if its because this thing is so small and shaky or if it is really that fast. but 0 to 25-30 is like half a second. This thing is pure fun.

I blew my ped up 2 times b4 i realized it was the oil pump not working, replaced it now along with a used piston and rings and jug. its a charm..its funny cause im 285 and it has no head gasket and still goes 33mph..it was nice to go down the road again.

Re: 1997 Sundiro Mantis

I just picked up a sundiro mantis that has <1k kms on it, however I have NO idea where to add the oil? Does the oil go in a separate place, or is it pre mixed with the gas? Thanks!

Also, it works great up to about 3/4 throttle, but sputters at full throttle. Thoughts? (Edit: I think I left the choke on, my bad)

So do I put the oil in here: Image

Or here

Or somewhere else?

I just googled "1997 Sundiro Mantis" and the first 6 of 8 pics were from this thread.

Obviously not too popular of a scoot. Though I do like the look. So Swap in a Dio!!

Say what....I took a look at images of the Mantis, and it's not even apparent where the gas goes......bike is unorthodox, makes it reeeeeeeeeellllly kewl....The thing to do is trace the hose from the intake, or carb, backwards to the tank....I suspect the one behind the seat is for oil.....the white tank???...I dont know...looks like coolant tank.
