The WR is a great bike but I would stay away from the 426 for commuting. You want a bike that will start easy every time warm or cold.

The Daily Chat

Post by Carnie »

I'm not a big fan of the WR for commuting, I have a couple friends who bought ninjas, one absolutely hated it and one said that it was okay just acceleration wasn't good at all. Have hear that cbr250r has been tuned for low end acceleration until 6th gear where they stretched It out a bit. As for the CRF, one of the biggest downfalls is its fuel rank capacity, being only 1.9 gallons it would still fall about 50 miles per tank short of the cbr250r even though it has phenomenal fuel economy. The ninja on the other hand only gets around 45mpg from what I've heard.

Loving the feedback. Thanks guys. Any other suggestions or comments are always welcome!

A jet kit and AM pipe are a must for the ninja to perform well. I never got below 50mpg on the Ninja 250, usually 57mpg. First gear is slower on the bottom end, the rest you can hold the RPMs. If you want more low end, I loved my Blast. Low end and strong pull throughout the RPM range. The clutch is not the most forgiving for a first time rider though, entry comp setup.

I got a new digital camera so I can stop taking wheelman class pictures and now take decent, clear close ups.

I also got a Hi-point 45 ACP carbine.

I gave the wife a Charter Arms 5 shot, lefthanded, PINK 38 caliber revolver.
