A new day, a new bike. '83 Passport, 5k miles, runs, shifts, tank sucks, seat foam & pan good, new headlight, tires up and not cracked, decent paint and plastic, NIB wiring harness(that is probably not needed on this bike). Strictly a flip bike looking to make $200. I dont ever see an '83 Silver/white on the street. CDI on 82-83.

I'm wondering if you fell in the toilet and got flushed, Greg.
No see you too much either. BS tank running low. Even my use of the period has been scrutinized recently. Sometimes little boys need to keep hands in pocket. Using this thread (Daily Chat) like a home channel on CB radio. You can find me here every day. Some days I got nothing to say. You got anything rideable now?. Spree cold in grave. hahaha.

No title. Have to live with that, sometimes. Especially here in TN. as so many people here never keep titles on small bikes. Bike is currently registered in Vermont. Seller said there is a loophole that allows reg. in Vermont even if you dont live there. Then you can get TN. title with reg. I dont know, man.

If you know someone who runs a shop have them file for a labor lean on it then you can get a title issued in your name, thats what I am waiting on right now actually :D OR you can apply for Certification of Ownership , its in the forms section on the tn.gov website somewhere. you have to take pictures of it before you fix it, get the value appraised by a dealer and the VIN verified and run it in the paper for 10 days with VIN make and model since it is at least 25 yrs old. if it was 30 all you would have to do is fill out the Certification and run it in the paper for 10 days

I'm familiar with certificate of ownership process. Have the form laying here.

Vermont issues valid titles to bikes that meet standards. They need no inspection and do it thru the mail. If you have a Vermont title, your state should recognize it.

I asked the seller if he had a Vermont title. He said no, but he has it registered in Vermont. I found that confusing if the bike is registered without having a title? I'm thinking maybe the seller is a bit confused with the process also.

...'75....VIN verifies as CB 400F-O...first year, looks to be original motor w/17k....feels pretty good when gently kicked over...overall is not so handsome, but my son has called dibbs on it sight unseen.
