Neat pic of spider
I caught my Salmon Pink Birdeater tarantula getting a drink. Pretty rare to see.

Back in the early 70s, when I lived in Las Vegas, we thought of tarantulas as pests, not pets.

Ouch, so my rosehair "T", my orange baboon "T", my salmon pink birdeater "T", my mexican red knee "T", my black trapdoor spider, and my bearded dragon = $250,000 or $1,500,000veedubh20 wrote:here no snake, big lizards or wild animals or $250,000 fine.

Re: Neat pic of spider
still makes me laugh that people have those as pets.
i remember walking down to the pawn shop in oakcliff(next to duncanville, just outside of dallas, tx) and seeing 2 scurry back into their holes along the sidewalk. i mean, i'm sure they're fun to watch and stuff... but its the way i feel about apples now that i live in washington..."if you want one, go out and get one from the side of the road." my girlfriend still thinks you have to pay for your apples at the store...thats just weird.

Michigan don't have tarantulas, especially birdeaters, redknees, and orange babbons!
Kinda like my bearded dragon from Austalia
.
Thanks Ralph, i was starting to think i wasted my time posting that pic for other tarantula fans to enjoy.

Then again, you live in Yakima, you can't turn around there without running into an apple tree!!fightingplankton wrote:still makes me laugh that people have those as pets.
