SOOOO *

Post by fightingplankton »

so, my gf ordered us some new helmets from motorcyclesuperstore.com and had them sent to our house.
well, ups delivered them to 4th ave instead of 4th street. they were tracked and signed for! seriously, someone signed my gf's name and took our helmets. i went there to get them back and no one answered the door(its a really junky area to boot).
so, i called ups, they said "contact the supplier" i contacted them and they said "we need to call ups, but they're closed right now"
so i have to wait til monday just so they can say "oh, well, we shipped them out, its your problem now"
grrr!

Not at all UPS insures all items you will either get the money or a new product. It might take time.

no need to get into a confrontation. Just give them a little time and ups will make things right. I would tell them what happened... that they delivered to ave instead of street. THey will quickly see what happened and fix it. Might take a few extra days but at least you won't get ripped off. Which helmet did you go with? I just ordered a pretty cool looking shorty helmet with a usa eagle graphic. Only cost me $42 shipped but I used another place. Jafta or something like that.

well... i did something i normally wouldnt do. i went back to their house, they werent home. i jumped the back fence and low and behold, there they were sitting on the back porch. so whoo hoo! issue resolved.
i got them home and they arent what i expected, they ride a little higher than i'd like. i really wanted a speed racer visor so i got these...very euro no?

I am glad I no longer have the testicular fortitude for a stunt like that anymore. Glad you got them, I'm also glad you are still here to tell the story.

I find it interesting that someone signed for the packages and yet left them outside. Maybe the UPS guy was lazy that day.

Even if you got your items back, I would still follow up on that complaint on UPS or the seller. Might even get freebies out of it.
