The field is set.....#3-Dillon and #22-Coulter front row...rain being likely the whole day, but has held off so far.....I'm watching this one from the easy chair, just simply didn't have it in me to withstand the heat and length of day.....Guess who didn't have the balls to show, #18 Kyle Bush,.....not surprised here....I bet somebody "invited" him to reconsider ever showing his face here after the guitar smashing incident from previous race.....I'm looking for #2-Elliot Sadler, to win this one if he can keep it off the wall.....hold on to your seat.

Austin Dillon became the 4th straight winner from the pole at Nashville.......props to Piquet Jr. with 4th tonite...Sadler had a top 5 workin', but tires gave up with 12 to go...salvages a 9th.....amazing pass by #32, Blake Feese, his first race and he pulled a 4-car pass taking the apron in turn 4 and finishing with 15th....Maybe a good move for Tod Bodine on the #5 truck...he gets a top ten after a poor season so far. Nationwide cars tomorrow....... :urban:

To clarify,....the previous two posts were trucks...this is NNWS...tonite #60 Edwards sails to the checkers with ease....Dillon led a bunch, finished 2nd, ......Stenhouse takes 3rd......#22 keslowski was strong until he dropped a cylinder....another guitar for Carl to sell......... :urban:

Crazy good race at Indy for Camping World trucks.....Surprising win for #17 Timothy peters after spinning halfway thru. Rain threatened for most the race and changed some pit strategies. Looked like #13 Sauter was the truck to beat, then #31 Beuscher gets the lead. #3 Dillon strong all nite, then Onion head Bodine went to sleep and crammed him into the wall on the last lap. Gas became the critical issue for several trucks. Kudos to #81 Starr for continued climbing thru the ranks and pulling off a 3rd place. When Peters came back around for the victory burn-out, he totally disrespected #4 Carmichael and #3 Dillon blocking them from crossing the finish line. It was a * move. This track is one action-packed oval that will see the LAST Nationwide series race tomorrow as the series will race the brickyard in 2012.

Got home just in time to see the last 17 laps....again, this track will bite you hard in the blink of an eye....Brad Keslowski comes out with the win....#2 Elliot Sadler comes from the 42nd start position and is threatening for the lead when he just plain looses it and nerfs #6 car into the wall....spin cycle...takes out his teamate in the process. Brickyard 400 coming soon...... :urban:

Brickyard 400.....winner=Paul Menard #27....his first and couldn't have come at a better track considering the involvement Menard family has contributed. #14 Stewart had me excited in the final 25 laps, but short fuel supply forces a pit stop...finished 6th. The rest of the story, well, nobody much cares.

August 6, 2011....Nationwide cars at Iowa.....#2 Sadler looking good all day, but not good enuff to hold off the Roush boys...#6 Stenhouse and #60 Edwards....and this finishes with a blown motor in #6, and a crash from the rear when #60 gets into all the fluids loosing all control.....boots the #6 car right across the finish line and they finish 1-2....crazy flippin stuff... :urban:

August 7, 2011.....Monsoon season in Pocono...trucks get delayed until morning before the Sprint cup race.....NCWS results.--#2 Harvick, #18 Kyle Bush, #31 Buescher.....NSCS results #2 Brad Keslowski, #18 Kyle Bush, #22 Kurt Bush, #48 Johnson....Huge credit to Keslowski for a win, driving with a broken ankle and beat up from a crash while testing in Atlanta.....Kurt and Jimmie had a bumping contest in final lap, no fight. Rain was a factor in the Sprint cup race as well. Delay for couple hours but dried and finished under green. Hey odinxxix...Junior is placing better and showing some promise, finishing with a 9th place, but still no win. #14 Stewart struggles all day and salvages a 28th start position to finish 11th.

Watkins Glen was the most likely track for #9 Ambrose to capture that first NSCS win. And he did!!!.....#18 Kyle Bush sure made everybody work hard to keep the pace. I think I pooped a little when #18 goes wide and #2 and #9 get around.....crazy wreck with Boris Said trying to get back on track and #6 Ragan holds the line, then it got crazy...#00 takes the big crunch and flip....#11 eats some tires....#14 Stewart pushes the bus-stop too hard and totally blows the top 10 finish he was running all day....s**t happens.....I waiting eagerly to see #16 Biffle after Boris finishes with him...lol
