Kansas being run right now. The chase is half over with points leader #2 Keselowski having a strong and consistent showing in most races, including Nationwide series. Smoke #14 starts DEEP in the grid @ 33rd. No surprise as #43 Almirola leads the first 61 laps today;has been giving the Petty team their money's worth. Too bad for #88 Earnhardt having to withdraw due to concussion issues. Announced today he will be back in the car for Martinsville. While I am not an Almendinger fan, he has come back to show that he is a skilled driver and knows when to "get with the program". Looking like this will come down to #2-#48-#11, but don't count out #15-#5-#16....Smoke ? just told his team to "get your head out of your a/s/s"....hahaha :bowrofl:

Missed the running of this race, was all wrapped up in running the "Grits".
No MRN radio on the way home.
Hope Jimmie Johnson doesn't create a weird dynamic with fans who think he is "taking over".
I applaud the teams standing and eventual championship, even though the other top four or five have given some very good performances this year.. :hi:

congrats to kevin harvick winning the sprint unlimited. tony and matt put on a good show but no win jr had some good runs but the hit that stewart put on him sealed his fate for an 8th place finish. all in all a great showing of the gen 6 cars.

Living 5 miles from the track to the south, the north wind brought me the race in sterio, on the tv and coming in the window. Nothing like the sounds of the speedway during this week.
