Well I'm pretty bummed

Post by Carnie »

I just sold the last of my scoots, my 1994 Elite SR. throughout the last year and a half, I have had 7 or 8 scoots that I would buy, fix up and sell or trade. It all started with a 1986 Honda Spree. As soon as I got on her, I was hooked. I got rid of them all because here in the next few months, I will be moving to Seattle to start an internship and will only be able to bring what can fit in my car. Hopefully, once I get up there and get a steady flow of income, I can get ahold of another Honda at a decent price, but for now, I have to stick to my cage of a car and dream. Those two scoots will always have a place in my heart above all the rest.

Marty: that is not what I want to hear!

Mike: I'm sure hoping so, but I am kind of going there blind. It's an unpaid internship so I have to find a job to boot, and it's a pretty expensive city! Haha. So I hope I can find one before I'm sleeping under the stars in a dark alley.

Eliteguy: I never ended up buyin the Pal. He changed his mind about selling when I had the money and when he needed the money and needed to sell it, of course, I didn't have it. So I Dont guess it was meant to be.

Well I'm trying to pay off my car before I leave as well. I've paid $5k in 3 months and am hoping to have it all paid off in 2 more months so I can get some savings under my belt as I don't know how quickly I'll be able to get a decent job.

Congrats on selling them at least, hope you got the value you wanted. Good luck in Seattle its gorgeous up there, work isnt hard to find in the city, I lived near lake washington for my first 2 years here.
Were you down in Joplin when it got hit? I was out of the country but when I came back I went down there with some friends who were in the national guard to help clean up, it was a disaster. Utter and complete disaster area all around.
