Today is a glorious day. They are building the 8'x8' workshop on my shed. The Scooter Shack is going to be the fully functional scooter lair ;-) more pics to come when I get it all set up nice. Image :woot:

Everyday is a glorious day ;) to be alive! <well... with very rare exceptions... but nonetheless...>
Are you sure 8x8 is going to be big enough? :p j/k
Thanks for sharing!

Someday I'll have a 'lair' and 'workshop' too :)

8x8 is going to be just right for most every thing I'm going to need to do. The original shed will have the wall opened up to the new part where he is measuring against the wall. The original shed is 6' deep and 8' wide across the front with a 4' deep pocket where my sprees and express live for the winter. And Im not paying for any of the shed so it's all good. My landlord rocks and he is a contractor. He also loves that I fix all of his small engine stuff. I already have an almost 5 foot tall tool box in the shed overflowing. I'll be ready to go on any project soon. I have a 8 gallon compressor with various air tools. I have a stick welder and flux core might welder. Chop saw, drill press that just need a permanent homeImage

Great deal, I am planning a 10x12 for my mower, pressure washer, and scoots. I am not allowed to build larger w/o a permit in my city.

That s in the original part of the shed that is the cubbie that the little guys hide out for the winter. The aero 80 fit in front of them going the other direction. Worked well for the winter but no room to work at all. Just able to get at the tool box and gas cans all winter. It was still nice having all four out of the weather. But now all the machines can live in the old part of the shed and whatever project is on the go can live in the workshop. Already working on the organization in my head for where the beach is going and how the shelves are going to go. Going to get a retractable air hose that will hang from the ceiling along with a retractable ac cable ;-)

I was totally thinking insulate as well. Great minds think alike. and the propane heater is another thought ive been having as well. The tank top heaters are very iinexpensive and I have a nice big tank for it. The bench and power happen next week when I get home from my away gig this weekend.

Dang 2x6 studs! That thing is not gonna shift much. It looks nice and tidy, my shop is horrible in comparison. Too many side jobs walking in weekly.
