Bought a 78 ford courier/mazda b1800. Then got a 05 mazdaspeed miata 1.8 turbo engine. Still have to find a 6 speed transmission and start fabricating fun time. I plan on using a t3/t4 hybrid turbo and motec stand alone with a 50/75/125 nos staged set up. This will be a pretty quick truck in the end. I needed something smaller but with a large bed, this truck has the 7 foot bed option.
Ill get it all finished and post up some pics later down the road. Right now it's finding all the right pieces. Till then ill be trying to blow up a 78 mazda 1.8l.

It is indeed a b2000 as well, b1600,b1800, or a b2000. My years were b1800 and b2000 or the ford optional 2.3 pinto engine.

The gt35 was my second choice but the t3/t4 .57 ar I have laying around the shop works for cheap bolt on fun. The nitrous will help once I'm around 60 mph and through the 1/8. I've never ran the gt30 but have used twin gt35 hks turbos on my 95 300zx twin turbo I had years ago. Ball bearing turbos are where it's at.

I'm hoping for 300-350 with the hybrid but if not ill try out the gt30 series. It'll already be on a tial 38mm ext waste gate and a corky bell air to water cooled intercooler. The motec efi will be awesome for this engine.

Very cool Build!

The GT turbos are nice but you pay for them. If you want to spend the money by all means.

t3/t4 turbo can do 500+ hp on pending what wheels and housings you use. And you can get these cheap cause everyone is after the GTs.

What wheels and housing are you getting for the hybrid?

It's a t3/t40e .57 ar t3 hot side and .63 charge side t4, I had it for a dodge colt with a 4g63 that we ended up using a 20g instead. It mapped out to 17 psi which is just where I want it on the Bp 1.8

Greetings:

You can't have too many scooters, But it looks like you need about a 3" drop on the hitch height. Wal-Fart, shopping opportunity.

It was only to get it to the paint shop, I'm getting it and the 78 painted the same colors. Not sure on what yet but they're both in need of body work.
