Honda express

Post by PhrankStolkum »

Hey I just needed some info on the old expresses I have a spree now but it doesn't do what I want it to so I'm looking to trade up pickings are slim in my area but there are a few expresses and I did a little reaserch and I've heard they came with a chain drive or a belt and I've heard variators and also two speed trannys I just curious what years had what drive and how well they preform especially on hills and offroad and what upgrades are available (noting that I'd like to keep a moped legally)

1977 thru 1981 NC50 Express is single speed, chain drive, auto trans.
1982 - 1983 NC50 Express is 2-speed, auto trans. Chain I think,,never had one.
1979-1980 NA50 Express II is single speed, auto trans, Chain again I think,
1981 NA50 Express II is 2-speed, auto trans, Chain again I think
1982 - 1983 NU50 Urban Express is variated, belt drive, auto trans. kick-start
1982 - 1983 NU50 Urban Express Deluxe is variated, belt-drive, auto trans, with electric start (also)
1981 - 1982 NX50 Express SR is variated, belt-drive, both starters, 10-inch wheels

I think that about covers the Express universe... :urban:
