Woo Hoo!! Just scored a VF500F!!!

Im about to pick up a Vf500F interceptor from a friend in LA this weekend. It appears being a gearhead has it's advantages.


First I was offered the Spree since my uncle figured I could fix it. Now a friend's gf offered me her old VF500F cuz she doesn't know how to fix it and wants to get rid of it.

I was reluctant at first because I wasn't even considering getting a motorcycle at the time. But after reading more about the machine I couldn't pass it up. Looks like my adventures in motorcycling are begining sooner than I planned.

Anyway, I just wanted to share here cuz it's a honda from the same era. Anyone else here have one? I gotto find a place to dl the FSM hopefully.

There's a guy here selling one that's been stored; I was asking questions about it on Yahoo! groups VF500F site. Check it out.

Plan on adjusting the valves b/f you put it on the road; they like to eat valves. That's a full day job on these.
