Darwin Award?
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I saw that video on CNN the day it happened. There was a guy and his kid in the truck, report stated they got out with only bumps and bruises.

This happened just a few miles from me. The falling building just clipped the edge of the truck.

Since he was trying to drive around the building I would say he knew how tall it was, he just didn't know how WIDE it was.

From what I understand the company that built the bank is being looked at for a law suit considering how easy it was to knock the drive through over.

I'm sure the guy's thinking is "Since I'm to dumb to drive around a structure, I"ll sue someone because I couldn't possibly be at fault." It's one of the major problems with our society today. No one tells anyone they were stupid because it might hurt their feels.

The driver is not suing the builder, the bank is.

Because they didn't get their money's worth in the first place with a building that was not up to code.
