I have owned SEVERAL bikes over the years. Currently I do not ride a motorcycle though. I was going to buy a new bike this past summer but decided against it. I bought my Elite instead and have just as much on that when time allows me to ride it.
I do own a bike still though. Its a 1969 Yamaha YR1. It started its life out looking something like this:
After extensive mods over the years, it looks like this:
Looks strange in the pics because the clutch is out of it in them. The bike has not been on the track in several years. Last time it was at the track it was running 12 seconds in the 1/4. Its powered by a Yamaha RD350 which is a 2 stroke.

Greetings:
My other bike is this 2002 XL 1200 S. Slightly hotter than the "regular" 1200s of its vintage with twin plug heads, higher compression, "W" cams, proper MAP ignition module, stickier tires, triple discs and that rarest of HD accessories, a Tach.
I added the Lightning Headers 2:1, all the expensive/pointless rookie mistake goodies and a few choice bits. Good ride for going slow.
Truly trouble-free in 15,000 miles. My Aero sometimes leaks, my HD doesn't. It's a wacky world.
I had to fire it up the other day after a month or more riding Aero exclusively. I'd forgotten how danged heavy a Motorcycle really is. Unless I'm going out of town, I much prefer the Aero.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

burnt toast,
Yup all those mine. I love the power of 1k cc inline 4s, but I am addicted to twins, haha. The first pic is the legendary Honda HawkGT aka RC-31. Old skool streetfighter straight from the Honda factory. It was my 1st one I bought back in 1994. I owned 8 of them since and have a couple of them right now. Cult bike. Just do a search, and you'll find all kinds of sites around the world dedicated to the HawkGT.
Looking to pick up a street legal 500cc two stroke sumo.
