Gotta love motorcycles. If you have the need for speed, you have to jump on a sportbike. Even a 1985 VMAX will make you sh1t your pants.

Well, mine's not running (or assembled, Summer project!), but I just picked up a 1974 Honda CB500 Four. Came with an aluminum bore kit, I don't think I'll install it yet, though.
1986 Honda Spree - Running amazing.....body work still needs to be done, but that's a Spring job.

Did someone say motorcycles?

Got a few of those contraptions floating around the garage...

The apple of my eye is my 01 WR 426, it's the wide ration version of the YZ 400/426f... The bike that started the modern four-stroke revolution in motocross, supercross, supermoto, etc...

It's not looking the best right now, but I'm in the process of getting together some stuff so that I can give it a little make over this summer.

About two years ago I stripped it down to nothing, had it all powdercoated from the ground up, laced up the supermoto set up (myself), gave it the oversized brakes, master cylinders, hi-power stator, and some one-off lights that my friend had fabricated run in the Baja 1000. There is a laundry list of what i've done, and am gonna do. But pictures speak louder than words...

Back tire is just a little wide (notice the chain slap  )

Just a portion of my collection outside the "garage"

Needless to say, it's pretty fun to ride.

I want a supermoto next

I dont know about CA, but in HI you only need headlights + turn signals at night and for safety inspections. It is perfectly legal to take the lights back off and just use hand signals (during the day).

BTW, is that a 5" rim? What size tire?

The headlights... I LOVE THEM! But their an acquired taste... They get noticed more than the 2g's I dumped into the wheels/tires/brakes/etc... My friend hand-fabbed the entire setup for my other buddy who used this bike for the Baja 1000 (just the frame thank god!). This is the only bike they work on (mounting points welded on the frame before it was powdercoated), so if I didn'trun em, they would just sit...

The right one is a spot light beam, and the left one is a wide angle beam with hi/low... The external stator by baja designs powers the 100watt bulbs in each (car headlights are usually aroud 50 watts to give you a comparison)... They literally turn the darkest night into the brightest day! Im sure oncoming traffic doesn't like em, but atleast they see me (which is my biggest concern), and if they can't see me, the white brothers exhaust makes certain that they can hear me...

The rear rim is a 4.5", with a 90/160 on it... Now that the rainy season is over race slicks will soon be replacing what is currently on there!

I LOVE SUPERMOTO (in case my avatar doesn't show that  ), and would reccomend it to anyone... There's nothing like kicking the sh*t out of chumps on R1's, CBR's, etc on the really tight and technical stuff (my dad always told me "anyone can go fast in a straight line"). Then jumping the crap out of it on some of the hilly streets in my area. Anytime anyone ask me about motards I simply reply "get one!"... But if you want to do it right you gotta do it yourself those DRZ's and WR-X's that are street legal from the factory are HEAVY and SLOW. Unless you can afford a KTM or Husky that's set up from the factory I would recommend a 450 honda or yamaha, the Wide Ratio versions are best for street legal use (i.e. CRF-X or WR)

I have a 01 yz426f that I'm going to convert. I know a WR would be better but I'll make due with 15/43 or so gearing. There is a lack of highways around here so I don't think it'll be too bad.
Maintenance doesn't scare me, I think it'll be worth having a fast bike.

I need to get a MSO and try to title it before I pull the trigger on all the goodies

Oh yeah, the bike behind is my 04 yz250. Gotta love that 2 stroke.

Mine is a 91 yamaha tzr 250r from japan.and yes its U.S titled and registered.the original owner brought it over back in 93 and got it legal in cali.He pretty much kept it in really good condition and when I got it,it had only 2260km on it.Thats 1412 miles.engine was rebuilt because he seized it real bad in denver so had rs cycles rebuild the whole engine from the bottom up.so when I got it,it had 500 miles on the engine.I always wanted this exact model and waited 15yrs for this.It was worth the wait.

There are some cool bikes on this list. I wouldn't mind having a SM bike. Mookies collection is so cool although I am not into the race replicas any more.

In the past I have had a CBX, 2 vmaxes a 1000fzr. At present I have two of my ex race bikes both 350 Yamahas, 2 Sr500 singles, an Xt500 and two VTR250s a Virago for two up. Oh and a crf150. I actually don't own a scooter. It is my wifes. She also has a Buell Blast a vtr250, Xs400 and a Yamaha TTr125.
