I was thumbing through my Aero 80 service manual and found this on p.12-
Tampering with the noise control system is prohibited......among those acts presumed to constitute tampering are the acts listed below:

1. Removal of, or puncturing the muffler, bafflers, header pipes or any other component which conducts exhaust gases.
2. Removal of, or puncturing of any part of the intake system.
3. Lack of proper maintenance.
4. Replacing any moving parts of the vehicle, or parts of the exhaust or intake system, with parts other than those specified by the manufacturer.
Is this still the case? Are we all a bunch of criminals now?

In michigan, most of our bikes are illegal right off the line.

Michigan law has a "under 2 break horse power" and an "under 30mph" standered for mopeds. But out of all the 'mopeds' i own. Not a single one follows those laws.

That isn't a half bad idea.

Avoiding copyrighting laws could be a pain in the but tho'. We would have to use all original pictures/phases. But i think some awesome merchandise would come out of it.

Here is the section as it is in the book. Red is my emphasis. -
