Puget Sound Area

Post by Bear45-70 »

I can believe I'm actually writing this. Is anyone here the Puget Sound area, interested in having a few meets and info exchange, oh yeah and telling lies about how fast our scoots are?

Greetings:

Good to see you posting, Mr. Bear. My Flash II Aero went 349.36MPH at Bonneville... :) Should I be using pre-mix?

Sure, we are a long ways apart, might drive down that way before the summer's over.

First thing first. All the time, guys go down there & run on 'the flats' . Check your tires, then try pre-mix.
BTW - could be out of date, but a quick search led to a 133mph 50cc streamliner record in 2006.

If I came over your way, I would just trailer the scoot on my quad trailer. If you do slide down this way, call first as I seem to be busier than a cat on the dance floor this summer.

I know this is an old thread but it is nice to know there are a few people from the Washington area. I am located in the Kirkland area, I would be down to meet up.

If this summer hadn't turned into the summer from * Image, I would have organized a scooter meet. Maybe next spring, unless anyone is interested in a lunch or dinner meet at some restaurant type get together to discuss scooters and modding them.

Hey Bear,

Where is Union Wa.? For some reason i'm thinking it's near the Tumwater area?

At first, I thought Lake Union. But, when I looked again it was Union and not Lake Union .
Anyway, I would love to do a dinner/meet up. Maybe we can throw something out there to the Washingtonians? See if anyone would be interested?

Union is north of Tumwater/Olympia, up 101 just north of Shelton. On the southern end of Hood Canal.
