Reminds me of when I'm riding off road trying to do wheelies, and doing dumb stunts. :D Usually it ends in me getting hurt. :D I don't have the convenience of a paved road to try wheelies on. :D Just a gravel driveway to wipe out on. I was once told that the bike you ride should scare you, otherwise you'll get hurt. Well, I'm not scared of my Elite, and the 100 enduro is pretty mild, though I'm scared of dumping it, since it is in mint condition. My 250 might scare me, when I get it running. It is so heavy!!! I did see an ad locally for a Yamaha IT465. 2 stroke. :D They also have an IT250. They want a lot for the 250, though; $1000. I've got under $500 total into my 250, including what I paid for it, and all the parts I bought for it.

well it was nothing i did, but my buddy chris thought he could get some air by taking his 85 spree to top speed and jumping the allys behind his house. yep.......he got good air about a foot off the ground. but when he came down.....SNAP! he and the moped with the front half of the engine went one way, and the back half with the tire went the other way. lmao! since then, hes always said 88-85 blocks are junk, cause the were casted with no support. he always since then has always stayed with 86-87 blocks. once he got that new engine, he went back to that ally and got more air without breaking anything. lol. 8)

The dumbest thing I ever did on a moped was this - I USED to have a 1993 Elite, it was d*** near mint. Well, last year, right when that new ugly * Impala showed up on Michigan roads, I turned around while riding thru a trailer park... To look at how much smoke was coming from my exhaust. Got me why, but there happened to be a white 2006 Impala, turns out the lady just bought it that day. I turn my head for a split second to check my exhaust at 20MPH and BAM. Turns out that Impala needed a ear bumper cover, a tail light, and a decklid. and I spent the night in the hospital. Didn't break nothing, but I wasn't wearing a helmet, and I whacked my noggin on that brand new Impala HARD. How's that for stupid? I'll never turn my head for that reason again. I'll make myself an "exhaust cam" first... LMAO

And i forgot to mention, that I got up and tried to ride off, but my front end was so whacked up I just knocked on the door and kindly told the people I hit their car and asked to use the phone. Luckily, the lady was not * off about it, her insurance covered it. Who would really have the balls to knock on the door and tell someone you've just hit their brand new car with your pile of s*** moped? Seriously.
