Ok - so far - Bear and Mouse... Weather will be what we've been waiting for all year.

I'm up for a drive into Bear country. Tacoma/Olympia/Shelton. But don't know the area so Bear or other riders south pick a good route.

In the Seattle/Eastside area, how about a 'BBB' ride - Brew (Red Hook Ale) a Bakery and BS?

On Saturday the 4th, mousewheels, stucinthe80z and myself met at the Vashon Island north end ferry terminal and rode the loop on the island. Stucinthe80z had some problems with a hill or two but other than that it was a good ride and nobody died. We ate dinner at the Mexican restaurant next to the ferry dock then they took the ferry back to West Seattle and I had to wait 30 minutes for the west bound boat. Then I scootered 40+ miles home just like I scootered to the Ferry terminal at Southworth. Good times and great weather. To bad more scooterist didn't come along.

mousewheels what do you think about the ride we did saturday but do the route backward.
i think it might a little more spree freandly
but we can pick up tacoma
bound riders on the piont defience side ferry terminaland we can eat at the same place.
and the the ones who want to ride half twice can or spli tup from there we could probly get more people intrested from the south if they did not have to travle all the way to seattle to catch the ferry.

Bear45-70 wrote:So no interest at all? Amazing.
The ride bear mousewheels and myself had last weekend
we rode vashon island it was a good ride .
i even played fred flinstonone one hill but iif we went the orer direction it woud have made it i think a lot of people did not show because they live in the south end and did not have the time.
or did not want to drive to seattle or tacoma would a lot easer to get to in any event we could do this again if any body shows a intresti sent a post to mousewheels to see if he would be up for it.
we could meet on both sides of the island because there are ferry's that come from pointdefience and from fauntleroy out of seattle and south worth bear country.
we will not be snooty about what you ride who has a interest.
there is a very good mexican eats place with good prices and if we meet at the ferry terminal it should a good meet and it gives another seven days to prepair as long as mouse wheels and bear are involved the fun will never end

I'm told "That could work." is vague and unresponsive. OK, I can do this one too, I'm in.
