Dd50 rotory kit

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Timing is not adjustable on a taida kit without some modification, and even then I don't think you can get back to 0 degrees, the bracket I had made let you go to like maybe negative 2 if that

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
It sure does look like it slotted on the base for adjustment. Or is the slotted area your bracket. Seems so strange for it to be non adjustable. It appears the one in your picture is set to as far retarded as it can go.
Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Sorry I thought we where talking about the taida kits?, yes the mvt is adjustable, and with my custom bracket no need to reset the rotor if you want more then the slot has, just move it to an extra set of holes

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Ok so that's the mvt you're showing in the picture? I was interested in the taida. I've already seen a mvt on a kymco zx50 many years ago.
Re: Dd50 rotory kit
I had brackets custom made, the rotor only hits the stator if the bracket breaks, and that's why I said a new bracket had to be designed and made, and that's what I did.
It's tightened down, that's the special nut included in the kit.
We have alot more experience here with dio ignition kits then most, I've sampled them all except a koso , which is similar to a taida by the looks, ones I've sampled
Daytona endurance
Kitaco inner( daytona inner)
Hpi
Mvt
Taida (even though it's not made by them )
