Corsa would push those gears and put out more top speed, thats like a 55-60mph set up like g9 mentioned,to go faster you swap out that contessa for a corsa and you will be suprised, even with a pg

Greetings:

The Polini Contesta is a "Sport" cylinder whose design affords pretty good low and midrange along with a nice increase on top. It's not a racing setup, but speeds of 55 are reasonable. The 28 is super-oversized. The kit needs no more than 24, probably would perform better with a 21mm. Likewise, the PG Long exhaust is designed to hit at around 9000, while the Contesta is just about done breathing at that RPM.

7s and below are for Strokers, as Graphie suggested. A strong stock 50cc setup can run 9.44s or 9.1s, but the Contesta has enough torque to drive a little deeper. I'd recommend 8.44s if you're looking for that 55MPH, or 9:1 if you want a bit more stoplight take-off.

Try a heavier contra, malossi yellow, or if that doesnt do it try the red, but def combine that with lighter rollers, 4.5-5.5 or even a combo. Zx trans would prob help off set the lower end also, but a better pipe for sure...
