Bear oughta be able to tell us exactly what ya wanna know in all honesty..
as far as racing goes..i dunno if i'd run a hotter plug, (6) cuz man, that puppy would get HOT! i changed to the 8 cuz even with the break in premix, it was runnin lean a little. so that means when ya drop down to regular mix, its gonna lean out WAY worse..then..POP!
odin, what kinda compression did your 44 bbk have? did you have tabboggan do the head?
i'm curious to see how much comp. his heads have..cuz mine ened up with 145!! assuming higher comp motors need better fuel octane N such to prevent detonation and complete chaos. see thas why i'm waitin to see what bear says about my compression, along with wheelman. also waitin to see what wheelman has to say about CHT's. cuz i kno how hot my heads runnin, next is to determine wether or not i need to keep goin colder. Advanced auto parts can get ya just about EVERY BPR#HS plug on the market.
i have not done a compression check yet. but i have the 85 head on mine which increased the compression from the get go. and yes tobboggan did the machineing for me. ill get the compression check done this weekend as im going to clean my carb and rejet to 88 and put in some paper gaskets around my carb and insulator i think i may have a leak not sure.

bpr and br just the ceramic insulator on the bottom
drag racing? i think i would run the 6.
what is the difference between bpr and bp ?
new best 1/8th mile time 9.647 seconds @67.155 mph 310lbs total weight
R stands for resistor. which doesnt matter for our scooters. and you will find some have BR and BPR, that is the difference in the ceramic insulator. BPR has a fat insulator and BR has a thin insulator. ill post a pic tomorrow.
