Re: 1986 Honda Gyro rebuild #2
thought id share some what i think is BS. its not looking like im ganna get my piston and rings for my gyro. any insight on what i should do??
Jason, I sent your package out on 01/27/10. I will contact the USPS to see where it is. It was sent Priority Mail, but Oklahoma has had unprecedented snow and our interstates have been shut down for more than 48 hours. I'm sure it is in transit. Thank You, Kathy
Jason, I did contact the USPS regarding your package. I have confirmation that the package was in fact received at the Muskogee Post Office on 01/27/10. This past week of winter storms has severely disrupted all postal flights and delivery. You cannot blame Bower Equipment for this delay. If the weather had not disrupted and crippled travel, your package would be safely in your hands by 02/04/10 at the VERY LATEST!!!. Please show patience and understanding.... Thank you, Kathy
Jason, Please take this number to YOUR local post office and see if it has arrived in your city or state. Your post office may have this item and have not marked it as being out for delivery.
The number you need is xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx. Thanks.
Jason, what is the phone number to your local post office branch? Thanks. Kathy
Jason, I am on the phone with the Post Office in Lincoln Park right now (313) 383-5506. All they did was look on the computer tracking system, just as I have been doing since the 27th of January. The number I gave you is NOT invalid, it has had NO computer scans of tracking since it left Muskogee. The fact that this was not scanned in Muskogee is "NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURE". The item is not scanned until it reaches YOUR local post office and is OUT for delivery to YOU!!!. I asked the postal workers in your local office to double check that you package is not sitting in an area for delivery to you. They did not locate one. I am just as frustrated as your customer and if you see, I have never had this problem with delivery. All of my feedback from other customers says "FAST SHIPPING". This is in no way in my control!!!. If the weather had not caused such havoc across the US, we would not be having any of this conversation. My postmaster here in Muskogee said that if you want, you may call Customer Service @ USPS (800-222-1811. Sorry, Kathy

Your old used gyro parts are moving within the UPS network and should key word should be delivered on the scheduled delivery date and that is a definite maybe. A shipment can remain in limbo status until it is delivered or some low life rips it off . Other than time-definite air deliveries, shipments are generally (ok what does generally mean?) delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. (and sometimes never at all ) to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that drive-up window. Up to three thousand delivery attempts will be made, excluding days that end in a y and UPS drivers going on strike.

Re: 1986 Honda Gyro rebuild #2
I think Mad Max is looking pretty dam good and not that much missing .
Is it re-painted flat black ?
If so looks good .
Like I told Dan I hate the gold rims ...
A batt.cover re-paint the rear rims (anything but gold )... and your there ...Do you really need fenders it looks fine W/O .

Re: 1986 Honda Gyro rebuild #2
yea, im not done with the bike yet. i finished up with the painting of the frame, and most of all the plastics. front end of the bike is done. the rear rims are in primer. those wheels on there now are dans extra mock up wheels. this bike will not be original at all. as for the battery cover....well lets say dan isnt very happy on that right now. i think hes up to no good lol.
