Then I did ton of body work and painting. Also I did a base coat of flex primer to ensure the top coat would stay on with the plastic flexing.

So far I have installed a new starter motor, honed the cylinder walls, cleaned the carbs, repainted it, rewired it, throttle assembly, key ignition, coil, and front+rear brake cables.
I use to be able to get the scooter to start up with the kick start but then it would die soon after.(I think the problem their is the air box, I need a lid for it). Also the starter motor I bought isn't even trying to turn over the engine. I think something is wrong electrically with it.
1st I want to get the scooter to be able just to kick start. So is anyone selling an air box lid or know of some other option that works great.
2nd After the scooter is able to kick start then I will deal with the starter motor.
Also my blog has more pix of my progress on the scooter.http://www.tumblr.com/blog/theprojectboy
