I purchased my spree from a guy who couldn't get it running for 2 years. When I first got the spree I got a new battery and cleaned out the carburetor and the fuel petcock. After that I could get it easily started but I had to manually choke it because the old electric choke/bystarter was completely broken so I just put my fingers over the air filter hole. I ran it perfectly fine for about a month until I purchased a new bystarter. But before the new bystarter arrived my CDI and/or ignition coil went bad, do I was getting no spark. Finally my parts came and everytime I try to start it I still have to choke it by hand. But before I tried choking it by hand it would regularly start but once I gave it full gas it died out.
So my overal question is why isn't my electric choke doing its job? So I can either choke it by hand and get it to run fine, or start it regularly and have it die out when I give it gas.

The choke was fine. Your carb is dirty or the exhaust is plugged.

The old choke was terrible. The entire needle was tore off. But I will clean out the exaust

When you hand choke it, how much suction do you have? Is it strong or weak?

Okay, do you get any back compression at the exhaust while you crank it? If you do it is a dirty carb. Noobs can clean them 3 or more times before it is right. Remove the E tube and clean it thoroughly.

Ok. I wasn't the one who cleaned it

I get weak suction. It doesn't even feel like anything
