SE50 PISTONS
Does anyone know if pistons from 88-93 SA50 will fit an 87 SE50 cylinder or does anyone know or have any refereces to the piston sizes basically the reason im asking is partzilla offers an oversized piston do you have to get a oversized bore or can you hone the bore to fit the piston any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Not sure this is accurate Marty. I just finished replacing the piston on my SE50 with an 88 SA50 piston and rings. It is running great.martynkim wrote:

Holding them side by side they are different. I never tried it but, the differences made me think it wasn't possible.

Re: SE50 PISTONS
I suspected as much i read the posts in the link and i also suspected it for the spree's if you read the service manuals it points to the same answer i just wanted to be sure also am i wrong if i suggested with the 88 piston rings we should see .3-.5 more compression or would that be if we added the 88 Cylinder
