Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
I had to install a coolant tank. so I ordered the "Weapon R" tank the construction is solid, and it is smaller than the password jdm one. man there is no room under these tiny panels...
I needed a bracket. so I started with some recycled square stock.
now it is an "L" bracket.
I am using nutserts to install the bracket. they expand in the frame and leave a threaded hole.. they look like this.

Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
and here it is fully installed ,one step at a time you know. I painted the bracket orange with "Montana gold, 61250 terra" that paint is awesome by the way...also it is held on with a "sickspeed" washer bolt combo.
the red squares are stickers.
Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
Is that a standard pop rivet tool? If so I want to find these so called nutcerts, that seems like a handy addition to my seldom used rivit gun!
Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
Fishman43....look closely at the tool...it has a threaded end sorry bro, this will not work with a regular rivet gun.
I am doing small carbon accents on this build. so here is my fork wrapped.. these are done now and look OMAZING in the sun.

Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
My failing eyes and modestly blurry photo led me down the path of hope...
Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
I made this tail light bracket and wrapped it in carbon vinyl. the taillight was like 20 bucks, the panels fit better when they are bolted down.
Re: spree+jazz= spazz!
We use this setup on aircraft. It is called a RIVNUT Tool. It has a threaded end that srews into the nut, then you insert that into the hole and squeeze it up like a 'pop rivet', unscrew the tool and hey presto your done. A quick google search reveals a few options. Is that a standard pop rivet tool? If so I want to find these so called nutcerts, that seems like a handy addition to my seldom used rivit gun!
