I bought that lens tint paint. put like 10 coats on. They look black until they are on. I'll post a pic of one flashing later.

You can barely see in my YouTube video that I changed the bulbs in my dash from standard yellowish white to blue. Im going to rewire the dash lights to the dc circuit so theyre always bright.

Spent the day tuning today. My car was broken into and my bag for work was stolen, so I took the day off.
Results from a day of tuning:
I started off with stock rear gears and 5.0g rollers. It was quite zippy up to about 35mph, but was revving out of its mind. I went to 5.5g rollers, that brought down the 35mph overrev, but not enough. Next I put in the 9:1 gears and took the 5.5 out, replaced them with 4.5g rollers. Nice and zippy off the line, good RPM level at 35-45 cruising range as well(not overreving to the moon and weak anymore).
I am most certain at this point I need a stiffer than Blue torque spring, and to stiffen my clutch springs. I could use a little bit higher RPM on the clutch grab, and I get a midrange bog that eventually evens out.
My carb is dialed in for the most part as well. The 45 pilot jet is very responisive to the airscrew, revving highest in between 1 and 2 turns out. I'm satisfied there. I was running the largest main jet that I had at a 118, and it was still lean after a large jump from 105. I borrowed a 130 jet from Whitey and WOT is very smooth and solid. I haven't given it enough WOT throttle time to plug chop WOT. I still need to adjust my needle to the proper position. It was in the middle, but after running at high speed it would hold rpm for a few seconds. I thought this was a lean condition, so I lowered the clip a notch, to my surprise this made it worse. May be an issue with diameter I suppose. I'm going to move it 2 up to see if I was interpreting the mis-performance incorrectly.
I'm very pleased with the progress made today. With the performance im getting at this point, i'm pretty eager to see how much more I can squeeze out. i'll be ordering 3.5g rollers and a malossi red torque spring for testing. I assume that 3.5 will be too light, but I can mix them with the 4.5g and get 4. When I get it dialed in the way I like, I will post a video, and make a game out of it. Guess the RPM by its sound.. Im tuning without tach or temp, so it will be a mystery to me as well. I'll then get whiteys nice stuff like tach and temp and we will all see what RPM I am running.
