Keihin Carburetor
Im running one of these original AF18 Dio carburetors on my recent 50mm BBK using a stock exhaust and airbox.
These come standard with a #75 Main jet. I had a spare carb with a #88 in it that the previous owner had been running with a failed BBK installation(I am not aware of the bore size)so have been very gingerly running with the #88 main and the needle in the highest position(clip in lowest notch).
Been monitoring CHT with my home made CHT washer attached to a multimeter with temperature function and have so far only seen about 280 farenheit which is good, but haven't been too hard on it yet.
Have had some new #92, 95, 98 and 102 mains arrive to play with but am having trouble locating replacement pilots. Stock pilot size is #35.
Has anyone else been successful in locating replacement oversize pilot jets for these carburetors? Or have any other suggestions regarding carburetor settings I should be looking at for this setup?
It would be cool to get a few different sized pilots to do a bit of investigation with.

Yup, looks like my jets in my koso pwk carb. Pretty standard. Except you need some bigger ones haha. They should be cheap and all over ebay.

Actually I just saw your head temp and maybe your good.. people usually don't get worried til it hits like 320-350.

Also PB was used in Aero 80 in addition to Dio. Stock for Aero 80 was #35 pilot.

280f is a pretty normal temp when not running hard on stock machines

Thanks for all the input and the links to the site to source them from. They are indeed different to the PWK/Polini slow jets - Not by much, but if you look at a pic of a PWK/Polini slow jet you'll notice the difference between the threads of the two.
I called Honda today with the part numbers for the OEM oversize pilots(thank you mousewheels). It would seem Honda New Zealand have no idea or match so have sent a query off to Australia... Will wait and see.
Knowing the correct names for particular items is also pretty handy. Great to learn that this is a Keihin PB series
I agree that up around 280f is of no cause for concern yet, but i'm sure the stock pilot isnt going to be the best for a larger displacement cylinder, especially when starting to push it a bit harder
