Re: Sb50p sticker bomb build
I have a jet drill kit, which is nice for verifying jet sizes and also redrilling jets to bigger sizes.

Re: Sb50p sticker bomb build
I've been looking to get a good drill bit set specifically for jetting, but for now I've just been using an x-acto knife and solder. When everything is where I want I'll measure the hole and buy the jet.

Look for a 'jet drill kit' it's a kit with a bunch of drill bits jet-sized. I've got one a good buddy gave me, very handy.
Here's one, kinda small tho

I've been on the look out for a nice kit but most of the ones I've seen seem kinda cheap.

I think alot of em are haha. But hey it is what it is. I barely use mine unless I'm tuning, then it's mostly used for checking jet sizes. Sometimes there a little off.

Re: Sb50p sticker bomb build
Greetings:
Here's a bigger one. The one I got had ONLY the #60 size and down - numbers inverse to the diameter. Measuring each shaft with a micro-caliper gives a fairly accurate hole size. I found clamping the drill bit and spinning the jet down onto the cutting end easier than tryin to spin the drill. The bits cut the soft brass of the jet like buttah. Shop around the HF website for several other smaller bit kits.

Back! I was out of town for a while but I'm back in my garage finally. As for the drill bits, I caught my girlfriend snooping on the forum and I think I may be getting a new set this xmas

I got home to find a dying battery. Not sure if the problem is with the battery or the charging system, but I'm headed out to get a new battery so I can find out.

Throwing a new battery at it will do nothing to diagnose your issue.Chubbyfunkmonkey wrote:I got home to find a dying battery. Not sure if the problem is with the battery or the charging system, but I'm headed out to get a new battery so I can find out.
Instead, jump to a 12 volt source to start scooter if you must, then meter across the battery terminals to read outputs...

The battery was bad. I put the new one in and gave the throttle a pull, the voltage jumped up.

Re: Sb50p sticker bomb build
I'm guessing one of the cells was shorted because I was only getting 11-12 volts with the motor running before

New Upgrade !
cheap and easy. all you need is a screwdriver and some stolen nail polish from your girlfriend/wife. or use your own, i won't judge

I consider it a safety feature. now if the needle gets in to the red i know its time to wake up

WOW
What an awesome idea. Not only is the Zuma cylinder cast iron but it also already comes without an intake port so no need to add epoxy for the casereed Bulletproof and powerful setup
If you ever make more cases and sell them, please let me know...
