$9 for the whole carb gasket set on the OEM sites, + $8 shipping for a total of $17, which is ridiculous
i'd like it to be closer to the range of $0
i was half-contemplating laying down a few strips of thread seal tape >.>
i might go and cut a gasket out of a cereal box, hmm

Be careful with stuff like that it might get stuck in your engine and cause a more expensive problem in the long run

Greetings:
You could use the rim of a condom, unless you's white. I would avoid the NaturaLamb, however.
Seriously, Honda-san stocks these or can get them in 2 days. They are round-section O-ring style, so you'll need to be precise with that X-Acto. I would be impressed if you pull it off.

despite the obvious stupidity in using this, there's a 99% chance that i will end up doing so

well crap, i figured i didn't have a gasket because there was a rim of gas between the carb and the float, but upon opening it there is a rubber something-or-other attached in the lining of the carb
* is going on
im considering just wedging the cereal cutout between the float and carb anyway

so i went and installed the cardboard piece, and i think the gas leaking problem is even worse now
i think i'll go ahead and remove it, but i don't know where to go from there

im not seeing how i'd get the circle rim of a condom to fit over the weird shape of the carb :/
i would like to know why my spree is being a little b**** and crying tears of gas constantly though
