1979 kawasaki ke250 engine parts???
does anyone know where i would find a piston and rings for my ke250 new parts are disscontinued now and everyone i asked here (in NZ) didnt have a clue it still runs but its extremly smokey way more smokey than any two stroke should be its like a james bond bike with the smoke screen jammed on

Have you looked at the oil injection system first? I don't remember what the KE250 was set at but Yamaha's equivalent was heavy on the oil. Around 6:1 I think. Those old 250 AC 2t enduros liked their oil on every one I have ever had regardless of the brand.
Have you done a compression test?
It does not show out of order or anything like that on the parts list here in the USA. Usually it will tell me before I order...

ive been running it premix same as the scoot 32:1 the oilfeeder gave up a long time ago ill do a compression test see what its at any idea of what it should b

They are a lower compression bike (6.8:1 ish I think), all of mine ran 75-95psi on a gauge with a 1.5ft hose and they had full power.
