Have '87 se50 and the key which works in ignition. The key doesn't turn in the cylinder of seat release lock. Tried graphite, etc. Anyone disassembled a lock? Should the numbers on the ignition key match the numbers on the seat release lock? Maybe someone swapped the lock out so it doesn't match the ignition?

you can go to honda dealer and they can cut a key based off the code written on the ignition...idk about the compartment lock though.
