staggering weights
Anyone know if staggering the variator weights is bad for your bike in any way? Anyone had success with this method over the regular way? Thanks
Re: staggering weights
As long as the weights are staggered correctly 3x3 your good. People use this method to achieve in between weights that they don't have. I'm not sure there's more of a benefit performance wise from mixing or using all the same.

Re: staggering weights
using all the same weights is always best.
But if you must stagger the weights make sure they are within 2 grams of each other.
5g and 6g could be used together.... but 6g and 3g would be a bad idea.
The heavier of the two weights will always wear faster in my experience.
