How to remove restrictions from 1987 SE50P. These are the major restrictions. Muffler does not have a washer to drill out and restricted ramp plate ramps are flat, muffler and ramp plate need replaced with non-restricted.

I looked at the "wiki", very nice! Now we have a link to send the se50p owners to.

Here's the link for the page in 'work' http://hondaspree.net/wiki/index.php5?t ... erformance

Let's sticky evilone's idea to collect up the SE50 info too.

All - put whatever links, photo's or other info here, and we'll get it moved into the Wiki.

Hey guys, this is my first post, so go easy on me.

Can someone please explain to me what de-restricting does? And how would I go about doing it. I have an 88 Elite and I was wondering if the 88 is restricted too? Thanks everyone!

How about 1999 Elite?
Mine say SA50P on the frame does it mean it is a SA elite, elite S or SE50p. I'm confused.
Thanks.

It is an SA50 Elite S. P means it is restricted.

The Iowa model also needs the airbox replaced.

The se50 carb uses different parts from the se50p carb. I don't know if the body itself is different, but the main jet and emulsion tube are different for sure.
