What kind of Helmet should I wear?

What kind of Helmet should I wear?
I just got my Spree up and running after 6 months of hard work. VERY HAPPY.
My question is, what kind of helmet should I get? Do you think it is neccessary to get a Full Face?
I am stuck between Full and 3/4, I want a visor to deflect wind because it is cold outside now, and I don't want bugs and debree flying in my face.
I also am concerned about what I can see. I don't want to not be able to see enough of what's around. I am concerned a full face might obstruct the view to much.
This thing only goes up to 30mph.
Also, I am looking for gloves.
Any recommendations would be gladly appreciated and accepted!!
Happy Holidays!

Helmet choice depends on you. I can tell you that I like 3/4 helmets with visor.
I'm wearing Fulmer 655, now replaced with model 755, and like it very much.
Visor replacement is $20 and easy to do. Scratches are eminent.
Padding inside is removable and goes right in the washing machine.
Full-face helmets will give better chin and mouth protection in a crash, no argument.
They also make difficult the wearing of eyeglasses and sunglasses.
Vision is usually much better in 3/4 helmets.
I have scrapes on my helmet from going down.
Don't underestimate the benefit of helmets regarding safety.
If you find a full-face that is comfy and doesn't make you feel like you can't see very well, I would recommend buying full-face for maximum protection.

I'm a full-face Arai dude all the way...
Ive actually only owned 2 types of helmets in my 20 years of riding; dirtbike "motocross" type and full-face... And 90% have been Arai. The other 10% (2 helmets) were Shoei.
BOTH Insanely priced, but both well worth it. -comfort, safety, style, and security... That's just me though-

arai helmet hand down!!!! I had it for 10 yrs...
full face cover , keep face warm at night.... comfoortable fit and light to wear..
Arai helmets all motorcycles racing use that, no matter what you read magazine. racing, so on..
full face helmet better protection on face from impact..

Those sounds great except for they are $500 ... I ended up going with a black modular Gmax helmet with a built-in rear L.E.D. light. Looking forward to it. I got it on sale for $99 plus tax. Reg. $139

I have a modular and I really liked it with my elite. But with my spree I wore a 3/4.

I have always been a full-face wearer because I want to keep my teeth if I go down face first

It doesn't matter whether you ride a Spree or a Hayabusa or a Harley cruiser. Once you are headed for the ground, it's just you and gravity. If you have ever done a face plant you'll wear a full face helmet. You can see fine, and you can easily find one that lets you wear glasses.

Re: What kind of Helmet should I wear?
Greetings:
I went down on my Cannondale 2-wheeler once going 17 miles per hour. Seventeen. I cracked my Gyro bicycle helmet but didn't black out. It's just dumb luck that it was the side of my head and not my nose or jaw that kissed the asphalt. The faster you go, the farther you slide, the higher you bounce and the more times you roll.
